Biography
Zena is a biology and marine science student at the University of North Carolina, where she researches microbial diversity of a hydrothermal vent system in Guaymas Basin, Mexico. Zena joined the Pavilion lake Research Project in 2008. Past projects and adventures have taken her from the Arctic to the Antarctic, and a few places in between.
