Biography

Currently I am a working to earn my PhD at Arizona State University investigating Mars, asteroids, meteorites, and Earth. Typically I use spectroscopy to infer geologic properties of planetary surfaces but I also employ a number of analytical laboratory techniques to understand planetary processes and evolution. For Pavilion Lake I am modelling the distribution of solar radiation across the lake surface and how that radiation propagates into the lake. I hope that this modelling effort can aid in furthering our knowledge of the variable morphology and growth patterns of these organo-sedimentary structures. For fun I enjoy baseball (playing and watching), fishing (successfully), lounging in a pool when it is 115, travelling to incredible field sites and exploring the outdoors.
