Hi Tyler! Good luck with all the MOUSE dives! It's such an incredible structure to dive on. I'm so looking forward to your data and insights on what you see and find. Many safe dives to you! :-)

Hey alex! This is so cool. Pls keep these mosaics coming in. They will be so helpful to the mapping analyses. Awesome shots of the mb roads. Great work!
Thx

Great project, I watched a good review of the research on NASA360. I believe it was on Analog testing. Will they be doing more on your project? Keep up the good work.

Mind going into more detail on how you are organizing your data? Are you creating XML metadata? What directory structure are you using and why?

Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed it Liz! Great question, we are very interested in any physical, chemical or biological changes that might occurred recently or in the past including lake water level changes. Certainly more shallow regions such as the bioherms could have been exposed at one point if water levels were lower and this may have influenced the development of the microbialites. The challenge is in trying to separate out the effects of individual parameters such as water level from others such as light or temperature changes. The mapping of microbialite morphologies with DeepWorker should help us to answer some of these questions.
